Private counselling is available, by appointment, to those who have been bereaved and
traumatised by the recent,
sudden and premature death of a close family member, or are distressed by a personal,
intimate problem related to, for
abuse or a family member's addiction.
Persons frightened by the onset of a life-threatening,
potentially terminal disease, are welcome to seek comfort.
Stipulations re Counselling
counsellor will not attempt to contact anyone who has passed on, as this is a risky malpractice.
Moreover, deaths which occurred more than a year ago, and the deaths of post middle-aged
persons in the normal course of life and death, do not qualify for
yogis and renunciates, your counsellors may not be consulted about worldly matters such as
financial affairs, employment, proposed marriages or romantic involvement. Moreover, anyone who
takes drugs non-medicinally, that is, recreationally, may not receive counselling (nor are they
welcome at the Sivananda School of Yoga).

direct, not via a third party.
